Activities include a prize for children's wartime fancy dress\, entertainment\, free children's face painting\, a mini museum\, arts and crafts\, and talks from the Swinton Heritage Society. Visitors can also exchange their ration book for free refreshments (for kids)\, enjoy a 'Swinton at War' presentation\, and participate in giant lawn games. Stalls from local businesses will be present\, offering lots of opportunity to learn and experience life 80 years ago.
